This is a 6-lane Expressway between Kottawa and Matara. Package-I covers the area from Kottawa to Dodangoda and Package-II covers Dodangoda to Kurundugahahetekma. The project involves the construction of Underpass Bridges, Overpass Bridges, River Bridges and Field Bridges.

This new ferry bridge which spans 300 meters long will connect Kinniya to Trincomalee on the Batticaloa – Thirukkondiyadimadu Trincomalee Road. Dynamic Pile Testing was conducted on 1200mm diameter bored piles using a 5-ton drop hammer to test the load carrying capacity of the piles at off shore locations. The process employed specially designed equipment.

As part of the Hambantota Sea Port Development Project, three berths are to be constructed inside the Karagan Lawaya Lagoon. Phase-I includes the construction of quays; the construction of the cofferdam between two sets of berths; and the dredging of the lagoon in the Basin and Channel area.

The site for this proposed development is located at 116, Galle Road, Colombo-03. The project comprises one 15-storied hotel block, one 42-storied hotel and an apartment block. The blocks have a basement car park, and ancillary facilities. The PDA and PIT were conducted on 1500mm and 1800mm diameter bored pile to estimate pile integrity & capacity. A 27ton drop hammer was used for the job.

The bridge across the Arugam Bay Lagoon was damaged by the Tsunami. Rehabilitation of the bridge started under the US AID funded Tsunami Affected Area Rehabilitation Project. The proposed rehabilitation consists of the construction of the Main bridge, the small bridge and the approach route to both bridges. Further, Dynamic pile test (PDA) and crosshole sonic logging (CSL) were conducted on a 1000mm diameter bored pile.
